Cannabis Sector Public Equity and Impact Venture Funds
Cannabis Sector Public Equity and Impact Venture Funds
We believe the cannabis sector will provide the highest investment returns in the near-term and over the next ten years compared to all other investable industries. We look to take advantage of the exploding growth this sector could provide across all businesses touching the cannabis space.
Symmetry Capital Management has managed portfolios in the healthcare sector since 2001. Symmetry Capital is the general partner for the Medicus Funds and Regennabis Venture funds.
The Medicus equity funds will target investments in approximately 15 to 30 of the highest potential, publicly traded companies, in our view, with exposure to the broad cannabis industry. We start with a bottom up, fundamental analysis which we believe will generate alpha and expect to outperform index returns.
The Regennabis Venture Fund is a cannabis venture stage investment vehicle focused on companies dedicated to environmental, social and governance practices.
Our team has over 25 years of experience in the financial markets and in managing successful funds in the health care sector.
We are committed to good environmental stewardship. All companies in our portfolios are ESG screened (Environmental Social Governance). This environmental mandate starts at home, not only is our carbon footprint zero, we add power to the electrical grid through solar and battery storage.
Our core commitment to ethics and integrity are the foundation of our company.
Our General Partner, Symmetry Capital Management, is a woman-owned business. Why is this important? Less than 1.5% of hedge fund assets are controlled by women, despite performance records that are on par or better than their male peers.
